This site is currently updated and maintained by Candace Cunard, eighteenth-centuryist graduate student at Columbia University. You can contact her at cgc2118@columbia.edu.
In the context of making information about consortium resources available to PhD students in literary studies, this blog will gather together information about courses in eighteenth-century British literature. We hope that ultimately it will be part of a larger constellation of blogs (immediately associated ones might log courses in British romanticism, British nineteenth-century literature or the French eighteenth century) that will be organized through a central homepage sponsored by one of the consortium members.
Consortium Course Listings
Unless otherwise noted, all information on this site has been copied directly from departmental websites and is subject to change. Although I will do my best to ensure the information on this site remains up-to-date, you should always check department websites or contact individual instructors to confirm the details posted here.
Before a new semester begins, I will scour English department course listings for courses of interest to eighteenth-centuryist graduate students and compile a master post with course offerings for the upcoming semester.
Event Listings
In addition to providing a list of courses, I hope to post updates about upcoming events in the area that might be of interest to eighteenth-centuryist graduate students, and, in future, to organize the occasional pre- or post-event meet-up.
